I'm running out of good subject lines. 10/9/2017

As Celine Dion says, "another week has gone by." And it has flown. Again. This Tuesday we had Zone Conference, and we were taught by Elder Ence, an area 70 from St.George. When we took our break for lunched, we were surprised with the wonderful opportunity to get a Flu shot, right in the middle of the meeting. An important note about meetings is the fact that we have to wear long sleeve shirts and suits. So, when it came time for the flu shot, people started rolling up their sleeves. However, my massive bi's and tri's weren't gonna let that happen. So we had all the Sisters go first, then I was the last one to get my shot, and I was standing there with my tie loose, shirt half off and half untucked, trying to cover my garments while I waited to get my shot. I hope that is the last time I end up shirtless at a Zone Conference. We also had car inspections, and Elder Davis and I are proud to announce that we didn't win... We have the oldest car, and it's be...

General Conference! 10/2/2017

First of all. General Conference was amazing. We watched all 10 hours in the Chapel at our little Branch building. It was the first conference in my 18 years that I can remember  not  playing conference bingo. So that was very hard. However it was also the first conference where I won "I see Karen" every session (it's where we yell "I see Karen" or "I see Dorothy" when we spot our lovely ward members in the choir.) I was completely uncontested. I guess the people in Massena don't know the rules or something? Also the talks, the talks were incredible. Elder Gary E. Stevenson's talk about a Spiritual Eclipse was incredible. Go read that one again everyone. Another thing that was really cool was the prayers. At home I never really paid close attention to them, but when I heard them pray for missionaries, wow, that was cool. To think that just about every member of the Church, had their arms folded, as we all prayed for the missionaries in NY, Ghan...

Anotha One (weeks are flyin by) 9/25/2017

Another busy week. It included much tracting, hunting down referrals and potentials, service, and tiredness. We keep getting referrals from the areas surrounding Massena, and they missionaries that give them to us seem pretty confident. Then we go knock on their door and they're never home, or always slightly too busy to talk... Everyone seems to act like a teenager, never doing anything, but always busy. However, we still manage to dig out the people who are really interested. So we're still chuggin right along.      On Monday we drove down to Ogdensburg to spend the day with Elders Jarman and Bellon. We went fishing, that lasted about 4 minutes. We got bored real quick... So went to Subway and got lunch, then we went bowling. I think I bowled a 46 or something. I probably won't be going pro any time soon. But we had a lot of fun, we chilled at their apartment for a bit and talked about how we're always tired but life is good. Ya know, classic missio...
